Sleeping is good... But still i cant help feel that i've just wasted pretty much a whole day of my life. Now i dont know what to eat... Breakfast or lunch?

Bleh....

So bored. I have nothing to do. Going to return broken gifts at Ulta, then to Tillys/ Nordstrom for boyfriends present. Uhhh.... Oh and I'm going to jo-anns to get fabric to make everyone elses presents :) Which will be this:

Super cute, right?? It's an iPod case! I'm doing sort of a variation on it a little though, and I'm going to make it so it opens like a folder! They'll be cute. I'll post pictures when I'm done :)

WINTER BREAK 2010 :)))

ahhh.... so i miss my boyfriend. very much so. but.... he might come visit!!!! thsi break!!!! in a week!!!!!!! were still trying to get everything figured out but.... hopefully he can come because i need him! anyways, im so bored. blah blah blah. i need to do something. i should have a party haha, too bad i dont have any friends to invite but my cosmo girlies, which would actually be really fun :) babysitting all day.... got my hair colored last night!!! thanks lauren mccamman :)

The day

Its the most wonderful time... of the year!

so with christmas right around the corner, i thought i would share how sad it is that it still feels like early fall here in arizona... and about a white christmas? well keep dreaming sister because that is never gonna happen! oh well... i guess its nice that i can still wear shorts while all of my colorado friends are freezing their butts off. ha! but still... its so strange. christmas shopping still isn't done... thinking about going today though. so happy there is only a week left of school!!! a good break is well overdue. i had my EVIT hair show last night!!! everything went perfect except for the fact that my face was burned with a curling iron... of the dangers of beauty school haha.

oh boy.

i. hate. research papers. so im writing this essay ight now... on entertainment. how lame is that? 6 pages, 4 sources, 3 points... grrr..... i hate school. SAVE ME!!!! i have so many better things to do....... so i have a blind date with a so i've heard very socially awkward boy. trust me, it is nothing. i have a boyfriend. just a favor to a friend :) but hey... free food anyone? im down. maybe i can just have a second boyfriend on the side for my selfish purposes.... shhh dont tell josh. i could get some good stuff out of this.

Good information....

so today i have learned a lot of things.....

1) bananas are fantastic!!!!!

you can use bananas to make a fantastic sugar scrub!

1 ripe banana

3 tablespoons granulated sugar
¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract or your favorite essential oil (optional)

Mash ingredients together with a fork into a chunky paste. Do not overmix or it will become too watery. If you want a banana scrub for your face, reserve some of the banana and mash it separately without sugar.

In the shower, before turning the water on, slather the sugar mixture and gently massage over your body. For your face, gently massage plain banana there, avoiding the eye area.

Rinse off with warm water.

2) to minimize the appearance of pores, use a mixture of honey and green tomatoes on your nose!!! let it sit for 10 minutes :)

3) Painting Nails in a Hurry? Swipe on your color, then put a drop of vegetable oil or vegtable oil cooking spray on your nails.

It dries them instantly!

crazy times these are....

well i've been very busy over these last couple weeks.... grades, facials, research papers, and parties have all marked the last little while. not saying thats a bad thing or anything. i also coincidentally am participating in "no shave november"..... we aren't supposed to shave this month for the waxing unit that we have coming up so it is quite unsightly. i think its been about.... 3 weeks? yeah that sounds about right. im super excited because this weekend me and my family are going to disney land!!! for thanksgiving :) so hopefully it will be good weather.... i feel like its really a hit or a miss in california. so we'll see.

I wish it snowed in arizona....

So I got out of Cosmetology today only to find on my cell phone a picture from my boyfriend of a very glorious sight..... It's snowing in Colorado!!!!!!! I never really thought about how much I would have missed the snow if it wasn't there before I moved here, and I suppose in the past i have thought that it is not exactly pleasant to drive in, or walk in, but it sure is pretty and I don't mind the cold too much either, so I definitely miss it :( Oh well arizona is good too.... today was the first moderately chilly day since I've been here!!! Of course all of the natives practically broke out the parkas, which I, as a colorado native where the parkas don't come out until we at least breaks the 20's... found this quite amusing :)

business is good.

so i am officially starting a business with my friend brianna!!! we will be making cute crafts and other home decorations as well as clothes, bags, shoes and cupcakesn :) i know it sounds pretty sweet. well anyways.... were trying to think of a name right now. it has to be really legit but still cute sounding yet awesome..... somewhat anthropologie. well.... thats it for now. goodbye

Good Things

i am so glad that i am in cosmetology school.... like seriously. 10000 times better than high school. why dont more people do this? thats the real question. i guess that was one good part of me moving to arizona... but still... i miss my dear colorado friends :( tomorrow is me and josh's 7 month anniversary!! how cute is that? i know... were adorable. hopefully i get to see everyone soon especially my dear friends gabs mad and bai because i miss them all very much! maddie is turning 16 tomorrow ) how adorable! also can i just say that i am so very lucky that i have my fabulous cosmo girls and that they are for sure my new best friends :) at least i have some haha too bad they all live like 30 mins away from me....

Candy is disgusting...

so the halloween party tonight was awesome!!! good job mom and everyone else for helping out... but now my legs are super tired... and so am i. but officially i had the best chili that i have EVER eaten tonight. if i died right now i would be content.

Well wow.... my first car mishap happened tonight. i was driving along minding my own business and then BAM!!! there is a pole scratching the side of my mom's lovely yukon. i swear that thing jumped out at me.... well.... i'm expecting a pretty bill from this. oh well... crap happens i guess.
